What we are
Build the Barn PAC is a federal political action committee. We exist to build power with Iowans who are tired of politics that only tears down — and to help address real problems organizing across this state brought into the light.
We measure success the same way builders do: Is the structure stronger? Can it weather the next storm? Are we leaving a legacy that will last?
From a campaign slogan to an enduring vision
In 2025, Zach Wahls launched a U.S. Senate campaign with the unofficial slogan: Build the Barn.
While the Democratic primary ended on June 2, 2026. The ethos didn’t. Build the Barn PAC carries that work forward — same brand, same standards, longer horizon than one ballot line.
Iowa doesn’t need more people kicking down the barn. We need builders. If that’s you, we want you on our crew.
